Yes, it's true, I do have a little claim to fame when it comes to my knitted toys! In fact the site is unofficially endorsed by actor Gabriel Luna, I asked his permission to use him and our selfies with the knitted bears that I made him and he said he was totally cool with it. So here is the story, it starts in 2017 when I met Gabriel Luna for the first time at a Starfury Convention called Ultimates.

Gabriel played Ghost Rider - Robbie Reyes in Marvel's Agents of Shield. So he was invited to the convention because Ultimates is about the world of Marvel and DC tv and cinema. I decided I was going to make him and all of the AoS guests a Ghost Rider bear which were all gladly received, but Gabriel was extremely touched by the gesture it would seem. I was told after the event by a fellow fan who attended that he was apparently telling everyone about it, that's how touched he was.

So touched in fact, that later that year, might even have been in 2018 actually, no think it was the same year I met him, he messaged me to ask MY permission for the bear to be used in a 6 week exhibit that was celebrating his Ghost Rider outfit. I mean, what was I going to say? Of course I said yes. So my little bear, tiny as it was, stood in front of the fan art exhibit along with other fan's arts, for a 6 week exhibit in a Los Angeles Museum. Pics to follow! The bear that got all the fame can be seen on the site header (if you are on the pc or desktop view on device) in the top left corner. He also took a selfie of me with the bear when I gave it to him and sent it to me.

I met him again in 2019 and this time I made him a Terminator bear to celebrate his role in the new Terminator Movie - Dark Fate which I personally felt he rocked. Well, once again he was so touched that he apparently carried it about with him ALL weekend after he got it from me. We weren't even supposed to give the gifts personally this time, but at the autograph session, he spotted it and knew it was his as he had seen me with it at the photo ops that morning. So he asked for it, of course I tried to say that I wasn't allowed, but he put his hand under the desk and so I gave it to him discreetly. (Naughty kitten according to his Starfury handler LOL) He did promise that he would find a way to get a selfie with me with the bear. And he managed it, though I think I have my friends Ryan and Adam to thank, as they spotted him, knew I was in the ladies and they said I was coming out soon. So, as he promised, we got those selfies and yes, he sent them to me also.

There is a solo pic of Gabriel holding the terminator bear also on the site header, that a Starfury member took and sent it to me! Also, I had already gotten my free autograph from him on the Saturday during the auto sessions, but when I seen him that night at the party, I had gotten our photo op back by then, a lovely cuddle picture, I just couldn't wait to show him it when I saw him at the part, that is also seen on the header, and he only went and signed it! An extra special autograph, and that photo has since been turned into a canvas, which I see every time I am at my pc. I have never been so blown over by a celebrity before, he is one of the most genuine guys out there who just adores his fans and always has time for them!

I know that one day he might get so big that he will forget about me, but something tells me that he won't, as he just doesn't seem the type and I am so grateful to him for his unofficial endorsement and the affection that he has shown to me since the first year I met him.
